Bio

I wrote and recorded my first song at the age of two entitled Firetruck.  Overcoming the difficulty of a small vocabulary and a lack of teeth, this song moved the soul with only two simple words...firetruck and (what we assume is the sound it makes) whooo.

At age 12, I joined the worship and praise team at my church, then named Calvary Chapel, Leesburg.   Over the next several years, I played drums, advanced to bass guitar, applied my knowledge of the bass to a guitar with open D tuning, and trained to sing.

At school, I lead  my fellow students in praise choruses each week during chapel. At church, I lead worship on Sunday morning.

1996 Graduated from Tavares Christian School as the class president.

While in college, I worked on honing my skill and fine tuning my leadership style.  It was here that my ideas of invisibility of the worship leader and instruction of the listener through song began to solidify. 

1999 Graduated from Southeastern College with a bachelor's degree in Communication.

April 29, 2000 Married Vanessa Rose Cody.

With my wife, I continue to lead worship and praise at Logos Christian Fellowship in Leesburg, FL. For more than a year, we have been assisting our youth group at First United Methodist Church, Alachua, FL.
